Share Your Work. Shape the Future.
The Pride and Progress in Pharmacy Conference 2027 invites pharmacists, researchers, educators, students, and healthcare professionals to submit abstracts that showcase initiatives that contribute to equitable healthcare, inclusive pharmacy services, and improved patient outcomes across diverse communities.
We welcome submissions from across all areas of pharmacy practice, education, research, policy, interprofessional initiatives, and workforce development that demonstrate progress toward a more inclusive and patient-centred profession.
But I am not a researcher, how can I submit an abstract?
That is completely fine! This is your chance to showcase initiative contributions you make to inclusive practice. This could be services that you offer in your pharmacy, approaches to inclusion that you use in your practice and many more. This is not a traditional research conference but a space where LGBTQIA+ pharmacy professionals and allies can connect, learn and lead meaningful change in healthcare.
If you would like some help with your abstract if this is all new to you, we have a number of experienced supporters who have offered to assist and guide you through the process. Email program@prideprogresspharmacy.com and we can connect you with someone to assist you in the process.

Abstract Structure - Snappys
Do you have a short event, project, topic, challenge, or reflection you want to share? We are inviting participants to submit unstructured abstracts to be considered for our Snappys stream – a series of short presentations aimed to be thought provoking and generate conversations and ideas throughout the conference. Perhaps you had a ‘lightbulb’ moment when providing care to a community member, or maybe you want audience feedback on a practice-based challenge you are navigating. This stream is meant for creative short presentations and we encourage any and all topics! Please submit an abstract less than 350 words in any format for consideration.
