Expression of interest to present a poster at CPC26

This year, we are creating a powerful visual display aligned with our theme, Multidisciplinary Momentum – a sea of practice innovation posters that highlight the breadth and real-world impact of consultant pharmacy across Australia.

We invite delegates to submit an Expression of Interest to display a poster at CPC26, with a select number invited to feature as oral presentations within the program.

To express your interest, please complete this online form. You’ll be asked to provide a poster title, a brief summary of your topic, your bio and some details about your experience. This will help the committee curate a balanced and engaging CPC26 program. All accepted poster presenters will be required to register for the conference.  Successful oral presenters will be offered a discounted registration rate. Any required travel or accommodation to attend CPC26 will be at the presenter’s own expense.

Presenting a Poster at CPC26

Please note, there will be no formal presentation component for posters at CPC26. Posters will be displayed in a dedicated physical poster zone throughout the conference.

Presenters are welcome to include a QR code linking to a short video presentation or additional materials and may choose to stand by their poster during catering breaks to discuss their work and answer questions.

A select number of authors will be invited to feature as oral presentations within the program.

Category of Submission

Please select the most appropriate practice setting for your submission

Please specify what practice setting best reflects your submission

Proposed Poster Title (Example: “Closing the Loop: A GP Pharmacist–Led Opioid Cycle of Care in General Practice”)

Brief summary of poster (maximum 500 words)

Outline the innovative practice, service or program being presented and what you wish the reader to understand about it, including the benefit or impact for patients, pharmacists, practice or the wider health system. Describe what you do, where you do it, and who you do it with. Posters do not need to follow a traditional scientific format (e.g. Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusion, References or Acknowledgements) unless this is appropriate or necessary for your work.

Experience preparing and presenting poster submissions

We strongly encourage submissions from “pharmacists on the ground,” including those who may be preparing or presenting a poster for the first time. If this is your first time preparing and presenting a poster, please indicate whether you would like to be linked with a mentor to support you should your EOI be successful.

Please indicate whether you would like your poster or topic considered for selection as an oral presentation during the main conference

If so, please outline any previous experience presenting to a similar audience. If this would be your first oral presentation, please also indicate whether you would like to be linked with a mentor to support you should you be successful.  Length of oral presentations will vary from 15 - 45 minutes and subject to the topic area and program availability.  The conference committee will contact successful authors to discuss prior to confirming presentation length.
