The Travel Health Community Pharmacist Pilot, initiated by the Victorian Department of Health in October 2023 and extended until June 2025, highlights the evolving role of pharmacists in providing accessible travel health services. This session will explore how pharmacists can enhance their travel health offerings by providing preventative health advice, vaccination services, and destination-specific recommendations. It will also discuss strategies to integrate travel health into pharmacy workflows, improve patient engagement, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Attendees will gain practical insights to strengthen their role in safeguarding travellers’ health and positioning their pharmacy as a trusted health destination.
