Angus Thompson is a Consulting Clinical Pharmacist conducting Home Medicines Reviews in Southern Tasmania. Alongside this role, Angus is a Pharmacist Consultant/Clinical Editor for Primary Health Tasmania, a Lecturer at the University of Tasmania, a Subject Matter Expert for the Australian Pharmacy Council and an Expert Reviewer for the National Prescribing Curriculum Program Angus trained in the UK, starting his career in Hospital Pharmacy before moving into a Primary Care role as a Prescribing Advisor and General Practice pharmacist. Since relocating to Tasmania in 2008, Angus has worked in Community and Hospital Pharmacy, on various Quality use of Medicines projects, and contributed to many educational events for pharmacists and other health professionals.
