The session will also honour the exceptional achievements of our peers through the PSA Symbion Excellence Awards, celebrating the accomplishments of individuals including Pharmacist of the Year, Early Career Pharmacist of the Year, and Lifetime Achievement Award winners.

Biography
As General Manager Pharmacy, Andrew is responsible for Symbion's community pharmacy customer's wholesale business needs nationally, including managing the needs of new and existing customers. He also manages Symbion's DoseAid business, and is responsible for providing customers with information on Symbion's total service offering including the Pharmacy Choice, HealthSAVE and TerryWhite Chemmart pharmacy retail brands and Minfos pharmacy software.
Andrew holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) and a Masters of Commerce (Accounting) from the Queensland University of Technology.

Biography
A/Prof Fei Sim is the first female National President of the Pharmaceutical Society of Australia (PSA) since its Federation in 1977. A Senior Lecturer and Coordinator of International Engagement at Curtin University, she has over 14 years of clinical practice experience and is a practising community pharmacist and pharmacy proprietor.
A PSA Fellow, Fei served as WA President (2017–2021) before joining the PSA National Board in 2021. She holds a PhD and a Bachelor of Pharmacy with First Class Honours, is a qualified pharmacist immuniser, Accredited Mental Health First Aid Instructor, and a Graduate Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
An award-winning educator and active pharmacy practice researcher, Fei has led projects advancing pharmacy services, including a PSA-funded study on point-of-care CRP testing to support antimicrobial stewardship in community pharmacy.

The Hon Emma McBride MP has represented the electorate of Dobell in the Australian House of Representatives since 2016, and was re-elected in 2019, 2022, and 2025. A proud member of the Australian Labor Party since 1992, Emma has dedicated her parliamentary career to championing mental health, regional health, and community services.
In June 2022, Emma was appointed Assistant Minister for Mental Health and Suicide Prevention, and Assistant Minister for Rural and Regional Health, roles that reflect her professional background in pharmacy and deep commitment to community wellbeing. She previously served as Shadow Assistant Minister for Mental Health and for Carers.
Emma has actively contributed to numerous parliamentary committees, including as Deputy Chair of the Select Committee on Mental Health and Suicide Prevention, and the Standing Committee on Communications and the Arts. Locally, she has long advocated for regional communities through her work with the ALP Wyong Local Government Committee.
