The condition remains under-recognised and underfunded despite affecting one in seven Australian women. This session will explore how public health strategies must evolve to prioritise women’s health, from policy reforms to community awareness initiatives. Bringing together expert insights and the voices of those with lived experience, this discussion will highlight the gaps in care, the impact of delayed diagnosis, and the urgent need for systemic change. Pharmacists play a crucial role in supporting patients with endometriosis by providing education, medicine management, and advocating for improved access to care. Learning objectives - Identify common symptoms of endometriosis and the challenges in timely diagnosis. - Discuss the impact of public health policies on endometriosis awareness and care. - Describe strategies pharmacists can use to manage symptoms and improve access to appropriate care.
