Biography
Janet is an Associate Professor, Enterprise Fellow and NHMRC Emerging Leadership Fellow at the University of South Australia. Janet is a pharmacist and her research seeks to improve medicines safety and effectiveness among older people accessing aged care services, as well as implementing and evaluating pharmacist-led services in this setting.

Community Pharmacist Perceptions of Extended Scope Prescribing
Biography
Sue graduated from the University of Queensland in 1985 and brings extensive pharmacy experience across community and hospital settings in Australia and the UK. She has worked in community pharmacy and in private and public hospitals in Queensland. Sue has held academic roles at James Cook University and at the Queensland University of Queensland, where she now works full-time, focusing on Safe Prescribing and Quality Use of Medicines education. She holds a Master’s in Pharmaceutical Public Health and is a credentialed medication management review pharmacist. Sue is passionate about advancing the pharmacy profession and supporting its evolving role in healthcare.
Brooke Snow

Expanding pharmacists' scope of practice in Australian general practices
Biography
Brooke Snow is a pharmacist with a Bachelor of Pharmacy from James Cook University, a Graduate Certificate in Pharmacy Practice, and a Graduate Certificate in Clinical Pharmacy from the University of Queensland. As a Project Manager with the Pharmaceutical Society of Australia, she leads initiatives that advance pharmacy practice and support the integration of pharmacists into multidisciplinary teams. She previously commissioned a pharmacist pilot for Northern Queensland PHN, demonstrating the value of pharmacists in collaborative care, particularly in rural and regional settings. Brooke is passionate about embedding pharmacists in team-based healthcare models.
