Details
Cardiovascular disease remains a leading cause of mortality in Australia, accounting for 24% of deaths in 2022 (AIHW). Conditions like pulmonary embolism (PE), angina, transient ischaemic attack (TIA), and pericarditis present critical challenges in diagnosis and management. This masterclass will give pharmacists a deep dive into recognising, assessing, and supporting patients with these conditions. Through case-based discussions, expert insights, and the latest clinical updates, attendees will strengthen their knowledge of CVD presentations, risk stratification, and pharmacist interventions to optimise patient outcomes.
