Biography

Professor Michael Dooley is a highly experienced clinical pharmacist and healthcare leader with a career spanning cardiology, oncology, and senior health service management. He has driven key initiatives advancing medication safety, clinical pharmacy standards, and pharmacist-led care models in Australia. Former Director of Pharmacy at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre and Alfred Health, he is also the inaugural Chair of Clinical Pharmacy at Monash University, leading innovative practice models across inpatient and ambulatory care. A former President of the Society of Hospital Pharmacists of Australia (SHPA), Professor Dooley actively contributes to national and international committees focused on improving healthcare delivery and pharmacy services.
