PSA’s Pharmacy Student of the Year (PSOTY) award recognises and celebrates outstanding pharmacy students by showcasing their counselling skills to the pharmacy profession. All the state and territory finalists will travel to PSA25 to compete in the prestigious national final, which will be held on the Friday of the conference. Witness them competing against their peers as they demonstrate their pharmacy knowledge and counselling techniques. Mentally test your skills and expertise as the cases play out on stage before your eyes. Join our host and watch the thrilling competition for the future of the profession’s skills and abilities. Join us as we host the final to determine the 2025 Pharmacy Student of the Year! Learning objectives - Determine appropriate methods for gathering information verbally from patients to make recommendations for management. - Recommend appropriate products or medicines to patients to manage a health complaint. - Provide patient education and counselling on the effective, safe and appropriate use of the recommended product or medicine.
