Eman Rafhi is a third-year PhD candidate completing her Doctor of Philosophy at RMIT University in Melbourne, Australia. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy with Honours from RMIT University and works as a pharmacist alongside her research. Her research investigates the influence of beliefs and health literacy on medication-related outcomes in older adults. Eman's dual role as a researcher and practicing pharmacist allows her to bridge theory and practice, aiming to improve healthcare quality and medication safety for older adults.

I am currently completing my pharmacy internship with SA Health, based mainly at the Royal Adelaide Hospital. I have always had a keen interest for maths, chemistry, and a career in health care. All of which naturally translated into a passion for pharmacy.
I completed my Honors research project last year at the University of South Australia in collaboration with Charlotte Smith under the supervision of Dr Vijay Suppiah and Dr Natalie Soulsby. I am eager to see the future research in this space and I am incredibly excited to become a pharmacist and contribute to the pharmacy profession to help make a difference in patient lives.
