Pauline received her undergraduate and Master’s degree from UNSW. Before joining CFEH, she practiced full-scope optometry in both rural and urban practices followed by 5 years working with the Brien Holden Vision Institute as a research optometrist. Following this she joined the CFEH team in which she held a Lead Clinician role. In 2022, Pauline was appointed clinic director of the Eye Health Centre of Western Australia and senior lecturer at the University of Western Australia (UWA) before returning to Sydney and CFEH in 2024 as Principal Optometrist. Pauline concurrently still holds a Senior Lecturer position at UWA.
