Luke Kelly has been a Pharmacist since 1982 and was a Pharmacy owner for 29 years. More recently, Luke has started a business as a Pharmacy Broker and Pharmacy Business consultant, working with owners to prepare to sell their business and assisting Pharmacists with purchasing. Often this has meant navigating setting up partnerships which can be a challenging but also a rewarding process. Working with so many businesses has provided insights into the state of Pharmacy as a whole and a clear understanding on what is needed to progress the profession. Luke is a guest lecturer in Clinical Leadership at the University of Newcastle, the President of the Newcastle and Hunter Valley Pharmacists Association and a Fellow of the Pharmaceutical Society of Australia. Luke is the current NSW President of the Pharmaceutical Society of Australia.
