Biography
Stephen is an Associate Professor in Pharmacy Practice at the University of Sydney. He is a registered pharmacist and is accredited to perform medication management reviews. Stephen's research, teaching and advocacy agenda aims to ensure that society makes greater use of pharmacists’ unique skills. Stephen’ research focusses on evaluation of pharmacy services, continuity of care, clinical trial design and statistical methods. He is Chief Investigator on three current competitive grant funded projects worth more than $6M including being Co-lead of an Australian Government Medical Research Future Fund Medication Safety Grant, the #STOP study. Stephen is a Fellow of the Pharmaceutical Society of Australia and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy of the United Kingdom.

Biography
Linh is a credentialed pharmacist with experience in community and consulting pharmacy, practising in the Central Highlands, QLD. In addition to providing independent Home Medicines Review (HMR) services across the region, she works at James Cook University’s Central Queensland Centre for Rural and Remote Health. Her research focuses on sustaining the rural health workforce and improving rural healthcare services. Sharon is a practising Pharmacist with experience in community, clinical, consultant and hospital Pharmacy.
Sharon completed her accreditation as a Consultant Pharmacist and has been performing Home Medication Reviews for over 25 years.
Sharon works as a Consultant Pharmacist for South Coast and Southern Highlands areas in NSW. She is currently the President of the Illawarra Pharmacists Association and acts as a mentor to early career pharmacists in her region. Sharon locums in many Community Pharmacies and is a pharmacist vaccinator. In addition, Sharon is a local area speaker to Health Care Professionals at Medication Education clinics.
Sharon is affiliated with Illawarra Diggers Aged and Community Care where she is a member of the Medication Advisory Committee and provides Residential Medication Management Reviews and Quality Use Medicines to Aged Care facilities.
Sharon is NSW PSA Branch committee member, a leadership member of Consultant Pharmacists Community of Special Interest (CSI) team and a member of the Clinical Council for Illawarra/Shoalhaven Southeastern NSW PHN.

Biography
Vinita has been a pharmacist for over 20 years with a background working in community, hospital and aged care settings. She has been a credentialed pharmacist for 12 years and completed a Master of Clinical Pharmacy (UQ) in 2020. She currently works as a GP pharmacist with WentWest Phn and has been in this role for over 9 years.
She has a passion for using practice data to improve patient outcomes and her work involves both GP practice-based activities and home medication reviews.
Most recently she was recruited to be the pharmacist in the Myhealth Proactive Patient Care pilot program.

In addition, she delivers Home Medicines Reviews (HMRs) and Residential Medication Management Reviews (RMMRs) independently across the North East Victoria region.
Sarah is passionate about advancing pharmacy practice, improving medication safety, and supporting collaborative, patient‑centred care, with a strong focus on the unique needs and opportunities within regional and rural settings.

Brooke Shelly is a rural Victorian pharmacist with a dynamic portfolio career spanning General Practice, credentialed medication management and residential medication management reviews, and multidisciplinary telehealth. She is a GP Pharmacist at Ontario Medical Clinic, a Senior Clinical Pharmacist with Beyond Pain, and the sole proprietor of MyMedManagement, delivering complex medication and residential medication management reviews across regional and remote areas.
In 2024, Brooke was named PSA Consultant Pharmacist of the Year and elevated to Fellow of the Pharmaceutical Society of Australia. She is an Adjunct Senior Lecturer at La Trobe Rural Health School, serves on the Murray PHN Clinical Advisory Council, sits on the Advisory Network for the National Rural Health Commissioner, and is a member of the Monash Rural Health School Community Advisory Council. Brooke has previously held board positions with Pharmacy Support Services (PSS) and the Pharmaceutical Society of Victoria (PSV).
Known for her leadership in rural health advocacy, Brooke is passionate about embedding pharmacists within multidisciplinary teams to improve access and outcomes, particularly for rural communities.
Brooke brings clinical expertise, governance experience, and a deep commitment to health equity to her role on the PSA National Board.

Biography
Andrew is a credentialed pharmacist, academic, and nationally recognised leader in aged care and dementia pharmacy practice. He is an Associate Professor in Pharmacy at Curtin University’s School of Diagnostic and Therapeutic Sciences, where his work focuses on improving the safe and effective use of medicines for older people, particularly those living with dementia. His expertise spans polypharmacy, psychotropic medication use, deprescribing, and pharmacist led medication management services, addressing priorities of national and global importance in ageing and medicines safety.
An award winning educator, Andrew is widely recognised for his innovative, practice ready approach to pharmacy education. He has led the development of high impact digital and simulation based learning resources, and his teaching excellence has been acknowledged through institutional teaching awards and Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy.
Andrew leads an active, collaborative research program in aged care pharmacy. His research has produced multiple publications, national clinical practice guidelines and invited presentations at major Australian and international conferences. His work has demonstrated real world impact, including evidence linking pharmacist led medication reviews with improved health outcomes for older people.
Beyond academia, Andrew maintains strong engagement with the pharmacy profession. He is a Fellow of the Pharmaceutical Society of Australia and previously the Australian and New Zealand College of Advanced Pharmacy. Andrew regularly advises professional bodies, contributes to national guidelines, and serves on conference organising committees and academic boards. Andrew has been a regular presenter at ConPharm and CPC conferences since 2012 on various topics related to his research and practice.

Angus Thompson is a Consulting Clinical Pharmacist conducting Home Medicines Reviews in Southern Tasmania. Alongside this role, Angus is a Clinical Editor and Pharmacist Consultant for Primary Health Tasmania, a Lecturer in Therapeutics & Pharmacy Practice at the University of Tasmania, a Subject Matter Expert for the Australian Pharmacy Council and an Expert Reviewer for the National Prescribing Curriculum Program
Angus trained in the UK, starting his career in Hospital Pharmacy before moving into a Primary Care role as a Prescribing Advisor and General Practice pharmacist. Since relocating to Tasmania in 2008, Angus has worked in Community and Hospital Pharmacy, on various Quality use of Medicines projects, and contributed to many educational events for pharmacists and other health professionals.
Angus's contribution to the Pharmacy profession was reflected by him being recognised as Tasmanian Pharmacist of the Year in 2017.
